Achieving your weight loss goals in 2024
Jamie Jensen says to be realistic and focus on four keys to successful weight loss.
Health goals always top the list of New Year’s resolutions, and Jaime Jensen with Progress Over Perfect Coaching has some tips if weight loss is something you hope to achieve.
First, she says to make your goals doable, realistic, and small. You can have an overall goal number, but she also suggests setting weekly, monthly, or 6-month benchmarks to keep you on track.
Jensen has four keys to weight loss success:
- Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep per night
- Plan your meals and snacks the morning before and hold yourself accountable
- Only eat when you are truly hungry and stop when you are satisfied, not full
She also encourages people to understand that the weight loss process will involve some trial and error, so remember that perfection is not what’s needed.
