Located on Superior Street, Alto Pino is serving up Mediterranean flavor in Duluth with dishes you won’t be able to find anywhere else in town.

Owner Lauren Aldinger says there’s a lot of different dishes that come from the Mediterranean. “We’re pulling from Spain, France, Southern Europe, Italy, Northern Africa, and Turkey.,” she says.

Sweet Potato | Patates: Grilled Sweet Potato, puffed lentil, labneh

The menu is Tapas style, meaning that the food is intended to be shared amongst friends and family. Tasting all kinds of new food together. Maybe trying something you haven’t tried before.

One thing that Alto Pino takes pride in is being women owned and women led. Lauren says, “The restaurant industry is historically Predominantly male. So it’s quite a feat that in a town of this size, we could be a predominantly female run kitchen And front of house as well.”
