Local artists outfit apartments for Love is Blind

Artwork from Bailey Builds has been featured in the Netflix show 'Love is Blind'.

The secret is out! Now that season 8 of Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind’ has been released, two Northland artists are sharing more about their role in having their artwork featured in the show.

Anna and Nathanael Bailey, co-owners of Bailey builds said they’ve received thousands of comments and messages about their artwork popping up in the background of the Netflix reality show.

“So last February I got an email from somebody and the subject was line was, ‘hey, quick question for you,'” says Anna, “Open it up. And then the first line was basically like ‘I am staging for a large Netflix TV show. I’ve seen you at the Minnesota State Fair. Would you be interested in having your local art in the TV show?'”

The Baileys said yes without even learning what the show was, and to their surprise it was ‘Love is Blind’.

Anna says the episode where you can see the most of their work is in episode 8. It’s located in the cast’s apartments, and Anna says people have been tracking them down a ton after getting a glimpse on the show.

“I mean, it gives us like a worldwide platform, which we’ve never had before,” she says.

Thursday, Bailey Builds will be putting pieces that were featured on the show in their shop. You can check out their website for more information.
