There is so much fun to squeeze into a single day at Bayfield Apple Fest. Baihly Warfield caught up with best friends Kay Kitsch and Diane Blaylock of Superior and Solon Springs, who agreed that the best part was the food. The festival features so many ways to enjoy an apple, including apple chili, apple slaw on a sandwich, apple cider mini donuts, and apple brats.
Kitsch said the best part was “The crowd, the weather, the leaves, the food… just the excitement.”
“The drive over is beautiful. Good time of the year. Plus, I love Bayfield,” added Blaylock.
Bayfield Apple Fest runs through Sunday. Baihly Warfield says ran into people from the South Shore, North Shore, Iron Range, and Duluth.
