Best places to watch the Beargrease

In the last few days before the 39th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, Jeremy Miller a board director, tells that the cold weather is perfect for the race.
All thing consider Jeremy tell us “From a Marathon standpoint, Ryan Anderson a returning champ with the opportunity to get his fifth win. There’s some great teams in the marathon. There’s probably six or seven teams that have a real shot to win it this year. And with the conditions being cccolder than last year. There will be a real opportunity for more team to make it to the end.
He gives us these suggestions to view the race:
- The start a Billy’s Bar
- Normanna Road, park in the Superior Hiking Trail
- Drummond Road
- Gravel Pit in Two Harbors, a checkpoint and finish of the Beargrease 40
