The 3rd annual Northland BIPOC Business Showcase is coming up this Saturday, and Blessing Royal Collection will be there.
Jasmine Flowers is behind the hair salon boutique.
“I am basically bringing to this community hair bundles, between loose wave, straight, also body wave and deep wave. It’s literally four different textures,” she said. “Also purses, furry slippers, jumpsuits, lashes, sunglasses.”
She also offers wigs and hopes to launch a class for adults and children to learn to do mixed culture hair.
Flowers started the business during COVID and said it prospered.
“I was a single mother that had to start a business out of her home. I couldn’t afford day care and all that stuff,” she said.
She hopes this weekend’s business showcase brings the Black community together.
You can find Blessing Royal Collection on Facebook and Instagram.
The BIPOC Business Showcase goes from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at The Depot in Duluth.
