Body image is a combination of thoughts and feelings that you have about your body, which can impact how you live your life.
Jaime Jensen of Progress Over Perfect Coaching says that improving your body image a way to improve your whole life, “It’s really all encompassing.”
Jensen shares these tips:
No. 1: Look in the mirror every day. Set a timer if you have to and look for something to praise.
No. 2: Clean up your social feeds. Unfollow sites that pick apart people, show overly filtered or unrealistic images.
No. 3: Accept compliments without explanation. Say, ‘Thank you.’ Don’t qualify or brush them off.
