Located up in Hermantown, Ideal Athletics brings the pep and energy to the Northland.

Ideal Athletics is the first USASF all-star gym to ever come to the Duluth/Superior area. They offer competitive teams for all ages 3- 19. As well as recreational classes, seasonal day clinics, and open gyms.

“All-star cheerleading is take dance, gymnastics, and then throw some stunts, which is when we put people into the air, maybe toss them, and always catch them,” says Liza Butkiewicz. She owns the company with her daughter Amarah.

As for what makes a good cheerleader, Liza says, “Positive attitude. 100%. If you put a positive attitude out on the floor, amazing things are going to come up.”
