Christina Stroup to star in ‘Tell Me on a Sunday’

Christina Stroup will take to stage in Boat Cub Productions’ Tell Me on a Sunday on Friday. Stroup is a professional actress who’s spent that last decade performing across the country but recently became fixture in the Duluth theater scene.
She’ll star in the one-woman show, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lyrics by Don Black. Stroup explains this play is for everyone, “The show is about a woman who moves from London to New York City to find love. It goes through her course of dating someone younger, someone older, and in turn, she realizes she has to love herself before he can give her love to anyone else.”
This is Stroup’s first time in a one woman show. There’s pros and cons to performing this way. “It’s been really wonderful. Honestly if I mess up it’s on me. I have to figure it out by myself.” She adds, “It’s also a really wonderful way to have this full circle journey within myself, within this show. The music is so beautiful.”
