Chuck a puck for the YMCA

We're learning how the YMCA's Chuck-a-Puck Fundraiser is helping out our community.
On March 3rd, the Duluth YMCA is hosting its Chuck-A-Puck fundraiser. It raises funds for the Y’s Community Support Campaign, which supports membership scholarships and program assistance for our neighbors.
Here’s how the YMCA says it works:
- Register for the event online, in person at our member services desk, or by calling 218-241-8008.
- Stop in to the EWC between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on March 3rd to receive your pucks from the member services desk.
- Chuck your puck! Take your pucks to the second-floor track in our building and toss them down to the gym floor for a chance at many great prizes.
- Follow along on our Facebook page where we will be going live throughout the day to showcase our celebrity chuckers! You’ll also have a chance to hear from some of our YMCA Directors to learn a little more about what donations go towards in their respective departments.
- Come back to pick up your prizes! During the last Facebook live of the night, we will announce our grand prize winners and will be in contact with all of our winners on March 3rd.
- Live out of the area but want to participate? Register for the event, donate any amount you would like, and let us know that you would like your puck chucked for you!
Pucks are a donation of 2 pucks for $20, 5 pucks for $40, or 13 pucks for $100. During the day of the event, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., puck holders can chuck their puck in person from the second story track onto the gym floor beneath.
