Meals on Wheels operates in seven counties. They are looking for volunteer drivers especially in Duluth and Hibbing.
Meals on Wheels delivers fresh ready-to-eat meals to homebound older adults, and now they’re looking for more volunteers in the Duluth and Hibbing areas.
Their services helps with food insecurity and improves the quality of life for its recipients.
Sarah Kumfer with with AEOA Senior & Nutrition Services says that now adays the demand is high.

“We have a lot of seniors in our area, and this helps many of them to be able to stay in their homes longer. And it helps seniors with food insecurity know that they are going to be getting a healthy meal,” says Sarah.
