Duluth Harbor Monsters heading to the Championship

The Duluth Harbor Monsters stop by the Lift before their championship game at the DECC.

In their first ever season, the Duluth Harbor Monsters are heading to ArenaMania, which is the championship for the Arena Football League.

Head coach Tony O’Neil told The Lift what he thinks has been key to the team’s success, “Just being a family. Bonding every chance we get. We’re always together. We’re always moving. I think them building trust for one another to go out and battle every weekend has been major for us.”

Next off they’ll take on the Iowa Woo at 7 p.m. this Saturday at the DECC. The first 1,500 people in the stadium get a free ice cream sandwich.

The Duluth Harbor Monsters need to bring the energy, Quarterback Da’Vonte Johnson tells The Lift, “We need exactly when they’ve been doing all year. Of course, we want people to come, but all the people that’s been showing up has been perfect.”
