On Thursday, Duluth Marshalls students learned and celebrated all things apple. The annual event from K-12 students is known as Apple Day.
Students head outside, try the apple cider press cook apples over the fire, and even some math based curriculum.
The school says these activity based days support their mission and keep kids engaged.
“One if our things in our school that we try to do is broaden student’s perspectives,” Principal Matt Whittaker tells WDIO.
The students’ favorite station seemed to be the apple cider press.
