Duluth filmmaker Ryan Rumpca’s latest work is called “Where the Wind Takes You.” It follows an Ely native, Peter Schurke, on a sailing adventure through Svalbard, about 600 miles north of Norway. The short adventure film will premiere at Zeitgeist Zinema on Friday, Jan. 24 to a sold-out audience. They’ve added another screening on Saturday, Jan. 25. Proceeds benefit the Duluth Superior Sailing Association’s “Scottie Fund” which funds youth and adaptive sailing programs in the Twin Ports area.
