The City of Duluth Sustainability Office is hosting monthly workshops to teach and provide hands-on ideas for how to live a more Earth-friendly life.
A grant from the Urban Sustainability Directors Network funded the series. Each workshop is hosted from 6-7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
Topics already covered include clean heat, funding incentives, and waste. Still to come are:
- April 18: Public Health
- May 16: Food Systems
- June 20: Solar
- July 18: Transportation
- August 15: Policy
Experts from Ecolibrium3, the Center for Energy and Environment, Community Action Duluth, Minnesota Power, Comfort Systems, the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency, and Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light will teach.
The workshops are free, and there will be children’s activities and food provided.
