Easter eggs, hold the eggs
Not a fan of the current price of eggs? We've got an alternative for some Easter egg fun.
Paige and Adam Jacobson, casually referred to as “The Science Siblings,” came up with an alternative to dying eggs this Easter season.
They suggest using corn starch and lotion in a 2-to-1 ratio, then mixing in some optional food coloring to make a type of dough.
The dough, which they call oobleck, can be molded into egg shapes and decorated with whatever people have around the house.
“The cool thing about oobleck is that you can shape it, you can roll it around, you can do a whole bunch of fun things like decorate it and things like that, but if you hold it or if it gets too hot, it’ll melt. So it’s a solid that can easily turn into a liquid, which is really cool,” Adam said. “It’s also known as a colloid.”
