First ever Ghoulwill Ball supports Goodwill

Next Saturday is the first ever Ghoulwill Ball. The new event supports True North Goodwill.

It goes from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the DECC. Tickets cost $55 and can be bought online.

“We’ve had so many wonderful sponsors that all of the proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction are going to go right back into our mission, transforming lives through the power of work,” True North Goodwill President and CEO Dodie Brown said.

She encourages people to come shop Goodwill for Halloween too. She says they have donated costumes and lots of DIY options.

“We feel like Goodwill is a treasure hunt anyway,” Brown said. “When you donate and then we put things on the floor and you shop, those proceeds go right back into mission.”
