‘For the Love of Duluth’ podcast celebrates the Zenith City

For the Love of Duluth Podcast

It's a podcast that puts the spotlight on Duluth and all that it has to offer.

The “For the Love of Duluth” podcast is in its fifth season of celebrating the people, businesses, and activities that make the Zenith City a great place to live.

Tom Jamison and Yvonne Myers host and interview people like musicians Charlie Parr and Steve Solkela, elected leaders like Don Ness and Roger Reinert, and even local TV hosts like The Lift’s Baihly Warfield.

Baihly is featured on the latest episode, which was just released Wednesday. The first episode aired in October of 2021.

“When things were coming out of COVID and we were sort of more community-oriented, we thought, well, let’s maybe do something that might be fun and also might sort of spotlight Duluth and some of the cool people who are doing cool things,” Jamison said.

Myers said when Jamison moved to Duluth and had so much enthusiasm for what it offered, it inspired her.

“He actually kind of reminded me that this is a very cool place,” she said. “When you are born somewhere and grow up, you kind of maybe don’t see it the same way. And so he kind of sparked that interest. It’s like, yeah, this is a cool place.”
