The Glensheen Mansion is celebrating a classic Christmas in 2024.

The decor theme is Classic Christmas Tales. Twelve rooms are themed based on classic Christmas stories and books.

“We took that as an opportunity to 1, try some new decorations and incorporate some classic Christmas stories and winter stories into the themes,” Executive Director Dustin Heckman said. “But then also, it allows us to tell a bit more of the Congdon family story.”

Some of the gifts the Congdons gave each other are on display.

The mansion also boasts 25 trees and an elf hunt for kids.

Glensheen Candlelight tours are available on Dec. 20-21 and 26-28. Christmas tours run through Jan. 5.
