Seven ice sculptures surround Pier B Resort and Hotel, part of its annual embrace of the winter season.

The sculptures are carved by an artist in Green Bay, Wis., and brought to Pier B for guests and locals to enjoy. Most are behind the Silos restaurant.

“People love them,” Pier B Food and Beverage Director Doug Dalager said. “We just put them out last Friday for the first time, so this weekend a number of our guests got to see them and there were lots of oohs and ahs.”

They feature local characters like Champ the Bulldog and landmarks like the Bentleyville Christmas tree.

If the weather cooperates, the sculptures will be out for viewing through the end of January.
