In Otter News: Feeding Zoozee her favorite treat

Zoozee the Red Panda’s favorite treat is grapes, and keeper Jessica Phoenix showed Lift host Baihly Warfield how to feed her.
In the wild, her diet consists of mostly bamboo. She also primarily eats that in the zoo but also gets red grapes as a treat.
The grapes help make her comfortable standing up to expose her belly.
“We can eventually teach her to be able to accept ultrasound machine so that when she’s pregnant, that’s the best way to be able to tell,” Phoenix said.
