International Falls celebrates Independence Day
Mayor Harley Droba says this years July 4 celebration will be different, but spectacular.
International Falls’ Independence Day Celebration is on July 4 & 5 at Smokey Bear Park.
The annual parade, fireworks, and live music is set.
Thursday. July 4th starts with a 5k fun run and walk at 8 a.m. The Kiddie and Main Parade starts at 1:00 p.m. on 3rd Street. Fireworks are at 10:15 p.m. on the FHS track Field.
The city is also hosting its Inaugural Stars & Stripes Pickleball Tournament for both singles and double players. That’s on Friday at 9 a.m.
Beers gardens and booths in the parks will be
Music will fill Smokey Bear Park starting at 5:30 through 11 p.m. featuring both Bill Piekarski and Gen-X Jukebox.
