Friday evening, Lincoln Park will be brought to life with the sweet sounds of jazz music. The non-profit Jam Duluth is hosting its first ever Jazz Crawl. Music will play all the way from Wild State Cider to Bent Paddle Brewery from 3- 7 p.m.

Jazz enthusiasts can also enjoy the Head of Lakes Jazz Festival happening Friday and Saturday night.

Jam Duluth is spearheaded by a group of UMD graduates who are passionate about showcasing this local talent. A member of the group, Grant Carl tells The Lift, “Jazz is a very important genre. The DNA of jazz finds itself in a lot of popular music today.”

Jam Duluth will also be hosting jazz jam sessions throughout April, inviting members of the public to get in on the music.
