A second Juice Pharm location is open and freshening up a corner of the Miller Hill Mall.

The local business is serving a smaller menu than the well-loved downtown location with acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and immunity shots.

“So this is kind of like an entry level of what we offer, which is we have acai bowls, which people in our town are just now finding out about it,” Desiree Jenkins-Hamel said. “We’re from California and lived in Hawaii, so this is very popular in those places. And so we’re happy to bring that taste of the west into Duluth.”

They make their own granola, chia seed pudding, and more.

“It’s just fruit and vegetables,” Jenkins-Hamel said. “We’re not adding any sugar, any other additives that are not going to agree with your body. And so every smoothie has at least two superfoods.”

The mall store also has a small retail section with tea, coffee, and salads from Ritual Salad, a small business in Lincoln Park.
