Ma & Pa Kettle Days set to celebrate their 40th anniversary
Kettle River's Ma & Pa Kettle Days is celebrating their 40th anniversary this weekend.
The annual community get-together event in Kettle River known as Ma & Pa Kettle Days is celebrating their 40th anniversary. The mud bog created for the event was originally made in 1984.
Ma & Pa Kettle Days kicks off Friday at 4:00 and runs until Sunday.

- Friday, Aug 9 4pm to 1am
4pm – Park Lake Grill & Saloon Beer Garden opens
5pm – Steak Fry at the Fire Hall
8pm – Pine County Line (country band) – provided by Park Lake Grill & Saloon - Saturday, Aug 10 8am to 1am
8am – Pancake Breakfast at Senior Citizen Center, sponsored by ML Area Hockey Assoc
9am – Park Lake Grill & Saloon Beer Garden opens
10am – 2pm Midway with local businesses, vendors, food & organizations
11am – 2pm Ice Cream & Homemade Pie Social at Senior Citizen Center
11am – Sign up for Bean Bag Tournament (16 team limit)
12pm – Bean Bag Tournament
1pm – Mud Bog
3pm – Bingo at Senior Citizen Center (50/50)
3pm – Tony Don Tracy – Singer/Songwriter
7pm – Raffle drawings
8pm – Rock music provided by Park Lake Grill & Saloon
