Making your exercise goals stick in the new year
As we enter 2025, many of us have exercising more on our New Year’s resolutions, but how can you make sure you stick with that goal all year?
Jessica Rossing, the founder of Movo Studio, has a couple tips for making sure you stick to your goals
First: Take a pause to check in what your priorities are and what you want to achieve.
Second: Start slow, and smart small and build for there. Especially with when you decide you want to work out.
If you are just starting out with your fitness journey, there are two different goals that you can aim for:
Achievement Goals: Goals that are between 6 to 18 months
Continuous Goals: Smaller goals that set up a lifestyle, like going to the gym two times a week.
The studio is celebrating five years in business with Movo’s 5th Birthday Workout Party this Sunday. On January 5th at Clyde Ironworks, they’re hosting a 60-minute workout party to live music mixed by the Crunchy Bunch.
