Carol Marsh is sharing her favorite recipe for a decadent dessert, perfect for your Valentine’s date or even your mom on Mother’s Day.
It’s important to work with room-temperature ingredients and to plan enough time. The cake needs to bake without opening the oven, then cool for about an hour in the oven, cool completely outside of the oven, then sit in the fridge for at least six hours or overnight.
Marsh tops it with a shiny chocolate ganache and garnishes like white chocolate-covered strawberries. She says edible flowers look nice too for a spring event.
