The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are performing a free air show over the Duluth Harbor.
The performance is planned for Wednesday, July 31 @ 5 p.m. It celebrates the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centennial anniversary,
Duluth is one of just 4 cities in the United States to host the Snowbirds.
“Plans fell into place this past November and we could not have done this without the support of Enbridge Energy, the City of Duluth and St. Louis County,
Ryan Kern, the president of Kern and Kompany, says he’s been trying to get the snowbirds to come back for over a decade, “To have them come back to Duluth and perform over Lake Superior for the Twin Ports of Duluth and Superior is a huge honor.”
The event is billed as the “Duluth Air Spectacular.”
