The Canal Park Green Mill restaurant has been closed since Jan. 1, but it will reopen next Tuesday, April 9.

It’s been remodeled from top to bottom.

“Kind of gutted the whole place,” General Manager Jackie Evans said. “Got a brand new bar, new floors, new tables, new chairs, booths, all of it.”

The restaurant opened in 1995. Ownership has also changed to Rich Siegert, who has owned the Bemidji Green Mill for 20 years.

“I’m ready to get back open and get us going again,” Evans said. “All the staff’s back. We hired a lot of new people and we’ve been doing training all week.”

The bar was expanded to have 24 beers on tap with several local options.

Green Mill is at 340 S Lake Ave.
