Spring clean your mind

Did you know that you can spring clean your mind? It's time to declutter the way we think.

Nikki Karnowski of Metamorphosis Coaching, Consulting, and Training says spring cleaning isn’t just for our homes. It’s also a great time to take inventory and declutter your mind.

It’s time to quit the negative self-talk. Nikki says, “Some people aren’t even aware of the things they say to themselves.”

Start noticing it and your thoughts down. Or go a step further and start journaling your anxieties. You may find that there is more room for gratitude. Research shows gratitude has benefits for physical and mental health.

All of this as we work to reassess priorities. Nikki says, “A lot of times people are feeling stress because they’re not aligning with their values. Sometimes it takes slowinging down and saying, ‘I’m doing a lot of things. But am I doing the right things?'”
