Support Safe Haven with a t-shirt design
Duluth non-profit Safe Haven imagines world without violence, but in the meantime, they have resources and offer support to victims of domestic abuse.
They are calling on creative minds to help design their next t-shirt, Jaci Christianson explains the need, “We have our notorious Safe Haven shirt, but for obvious reasons they’re not one that we usually make available to the public. “
The short will be not only be for staff but also survivors and community members to wear.
“We’re looking for kind of anything,” says Jaci. “Things that promote inclusivity, being creative. Also providing that message to survivors that there are people in their community that care about them.”
Guidelines for the design include:
- Maximum of 3 colors per design.
- No profanity.
- Any messaging must be inclusive.
- Should align with Safe Haven’s mission.
- Can be text, imagery, or a combination of both.
- All artwork must be original.
- Safe Haven logo and/or name do not need to be included.
‘We were founded by the community. We were a coalition from our roots. So, for us, it’s important to continue that collaboration with the community, continue that collaboration with those that are supporting us.”
Safe Haven is also hosting a school supply drive.
