UWS showcases their annual Valentine’s Swing Dance
The Valentine's Swing Dance at UWS on February 14 at the Yellow Jacket Union.
The University of Wisconsin Superior Jazz Band will play plenty of sweet notes for its annual Valentine’s Swing Dance on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Yellow Jackets Union Great Room.
The evening features music from the classic era of big band with songs from Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Woody Herman and more. There will be swing dance lessons between sets which are free of charge.
For over 10 years, the event has become a Valentine’s tradition in the Twin Ports. Best of all, tickets are just $5 and free for students.
