Bringing hip hop to the DECC
Local talk show taking an uplifting look at Twin Ports life by providing news & info relevant to our area.
Three Hip-hop performers are gearing up to rock the AMSOIL Arena Saturday, May 3. Method Man (of Wu-tang Clan), Redman (Def Squad), and Xzibit will all take the stage at with a live band. Underground rap icon Immortal Technique will join as a special guest performer.
This lineup is a part of the DECC’s mission to get more and more different genres of shows for audiences to see.
Method Man and Redman, longtime collaborators known for their high-energy performances, first joined forces on their platinum-selling album “Blackout!” in 1999. Method Man rose to prominence as a member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan before launching a successful solo career, while Redman established himself as one of hip-hop’s most distinctive voices through his work with Def Jam Records.
