The Junior League of Duluth looks to Find the Good

A new movement that the Junior League of Duluth is spearheading to get people involved in the community.

The Junior League of Duluth is spearheading a new movement called “Find the Good Day” to get people involved in the community. It’s part of Junior League International.

“We’re just trying to get everyone to find the good in their neighbors, in themselves, and their communities,” said Lauren Farden, the President of the Junior League of Duluth. She credits Patty Salo-Downs, Council Director, for leading the charge on the event.

“It’s heartwarming to know how many organizations are giving people a lift up,” Salo Downs told The Lift. “Finding the good is not just for Junior League people and organizations, it’s for everyone. We can all lift each other up.”

Additionally, the Junior League gave grants to 15 community organizations so they could continue to do their good work.
