Daniel Tiger is a popular guy on PBS. And a live version of the show is coming to Grand Rapids on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

“It’s Daniel in the Land of the Make Believe, and he’s going on an adventure with his friends,” Actor Kimmi Neuschulz said. “And he’s learning about what it means to be king. So he gets to be king for a day.”

Neuschulz says there are themes of kindness and sharing. It’s an interactive show that all ages can enjoy.

“Obviously the young ones will love it because they’ll be able to see their favorite characters come to life on stage. But also, the adults, many of them probably grew up watching Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. And having this spin-off show, they’ll recognize a lot of those similar characters that they did growing up,” she said.

It starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Reif Center. Tickets are available online.
