Twin Ports Walk to End Alzheimer’s Kickoff

The Twin Ports Walk to End Alzheimer’s is hosting a kick-off event for both seasoned pros and new participants.
Aubrey Hagen, the Walk Chair explains, “A lot of people think that because the walk is in September, we’re not busy yet. We’re super busy right now. This is really the peak of our fundraising.” Hagen adds there are upcoming paint the town purple events and team captain kickoffs.
You’re invited to this event. It’s at Gitchi Gammi Club Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m.. Tami Siebert, the Walk Manager, tells us, “Have some appetizers, get your team supplies, or just come in and find out what it’s all about.”
For those in Superior, There’s an event Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Superior Public Library. Donuts and juice will be served there.
Tami adds, “The walk is in September, but that’s a celebration of the work we’re doing now.”
