The Lift stops by the Wonderfully Made studio.
Wonderfully Made artist Rebekah Rush works hard to create resin artwork so people can bring parts of the Northland back home with them.
She’s been working with resin for about 10 years now and always finds herself going back to creating pieces around Lake Superior.
“I always think, ‘oh I’m going to do other things besides Lake Superior’ and I always go back to it because that’s what people love,” says Rebekah.
She resources as much as she can locally, creating wall art that looks like glass but is actually a hard glossy plastic.

Her pieces using the birch bark take about a year to create! She says it’s all about flatting the birch so it’s easier to cover with resin and cut out in all kinds of different patterns.
