Promotion to President of Lakehead Constructor for Brian Hubbard

Lakehead Constructors, a Superior, WI based company, has recently promoted Brian Hubbard from Executive Vice President – Operations and Construction to President.

Brian Maki, CEO and Chairman of the Board had held the role of President himself since 2008 and stated “It is with great pleasure that I am announcing Brian Hubbard’s promotion.  He has been involved with every major project we have completed since starting with the company 18 years ago and has served the company admirably.  As President, Brian will be responsible for fully executing the strategic visions of the company for our sustained and continuous growth, as well as focusing on the execution and management of all construction personnel and projects. Our carefully planned strategy of regional growth will require additional resources and leadership and I feel Brian is the correct choice to manage this growth.”

Brian Hubbard, a Superior native and graduate of UW-Superior, started his career at Lakehead Constructors in 2006 and quickly assumed a role as Project Manager on several key capital projects and accounts.  In 2019 he was promoted to the Executive Leadership team as Vice President – Construction and in 2022 to Executive Vice President – Operations and Construction.
