The annual SME Minnesota Conference is returning to the Range. Mining professionals are invited to go on field trips, hear expert speakers, and network at the exhibit hall.

This year’s theme is “Mining the Future: Sustaining Culture Amidst Change – Innovating Today, Preserving Tomorrow.”

Kurt Doran from NTS is the 2025 Chair of the conference, and shared, “The programming is exciting. The plenary opening and closing sessions focus on automation and AI, and also the importance of obtaining a social license to operate.”
