SME Minnesota Conference relocates to the Iron Range

The 2022 SME Minnesota Conference is coming up next week in Virginia. It’s a new venue, at the Iron Trail Motors Convention Center.

Traditionally held at the DECC, the move to the Range represents a return to mining country.

Corie Ekholm, MN SME Section Chair, told us about 700 people have signed up.

"The new convention center really made it possible. It was hard to find a space that’s big enough to host a whole convention and trade show. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback," Ekholm told us. “The vendors and suppliers are excited to show what projects and technology they‘ve been working on.”
