Outstanding Teacher
Teachers make a life-long impact on our children and this school year WDIO is featuring some of the Northland’s best.
Harbor Pointe Credit Union presents the Outstanding Teacher of the Northland.
During the 2024/2025 school year, six teachers will be featured on WDIO News. The teachers will each receive $500 to be used for their classrooms.
We ask the public to nominate a teacher that’s been important to you, your child, or your community. The nominee must be a current teacher in grades preschool through 12th grade at a public or private school within the Northland area.

Starting in November, one teacher a month will be chosen from all eligible entries to be the featured teacher. Six Grand Prizes of a $500 check donation from Harbor Pointe Credit Union will be awarded.
The selected teachers will be featured on WDIO News. The more information or stories you can provide about your nomination the better!
