The Lake Superior Classic was kind to the Cherry Tigers, who took down Nevis 74-60 on Saturday at Duluth East.

Despite only having a seven point lead at the half, the Tigers were able to pull away in the second, outscoring Nevis 39-31.

Isaiah Asuma led the way with 21 points, while Noah Sundquist added 20 of his own.

Cherry next heads to Littlefork-Big Falls on Thursday for a 7:15 p.m. tipoff.
