The Hermantown/Proctor boys lacrosse team downed previously-undefeated Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (CEC) 13-5 at Esko School Fields on Tuesday.

CEC called the meeting the ‘Clash of the Lacrosse Titans’ on their Facebook page. It refers to the two programs’ history as a single team called the Arrowhead Titans. The communities of Cloquet, Esko and Carlton then broke off becoming the Northern Siege, before launching as the Lumberjacks this spring.

Both the Stealth and Lumberjacks now sit 7-1 on the season. Hermantown/Proctor will next host Duluth Thursday at Hermantown High School at 7 p.m. CEC will visit Rocori Thursday at 7 p.m.
