Prep Basketball: Cloquet boys win 4th straight, Proctor & Hermantown girls earn wins
On Friday, Cloquet boys’ basketball topped Hibbing, Proctor girl’s basketball bested Milaca, and Hermantown girls’ basketball slumped Duluth Denfeld.
In Cloquet, the Lumberjacks beat the Bluejackets 100-68, which improved Cloquet’s win streak to four in a row. Cloquet sunk hoops thanks to players like Jack Battaglia, Noah Hansen, and Max Sundquist. The Bluejackets netted points thanks to players like Finn Eskeli, Adam Reckmeyer, and Raymond Brau.

In Proctor, the Rails took down Milaca 59-49 rebounding from their close loss against Rock Ridge. Proctor tallied points thanks to players like Lily Smith, Chloe Carlson, and Paige Evans.

In Duluth, Hermantown boasted their fifth win in a row, defeating Duluth Denfeld 69-38. Hermantown was lead in points by Bailey Hermanson with 20, Olivia Johnson with 9, and Danika Bolf with 8. Denfeld was lead in scoring by Victoria Nylund with 19, Maurissa Hendricks with 8, Ellie Davis and Amaya Liddel with 3.
