On Thursday, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton would top Superior, Grand Rapids would defeat Duluth East, and Rock Ridge would best Hermantown for the first time in program history in overtime.

In Hermantown, Rock Ridge would sneak past Hermantown for the first time as a program, winning in overtime 1-0. Rock Ridge would net the solo point for the game thanks to Caz Carlson in overtime, assisted by Grady Dimberio. Rock Ridge would make 25 shots on goal, and Hermantown would make 29 shots on goal.

In Superior, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boy’s hockey took down the Superior Spartans 6-1. The Lumberjacks would net goals thanks to players like Connor Sullivan, assisted by Luke Gentilini, Nikolas Gentilini, assisted by Huson Snesrud, and Alessandro Johnson. Superior would net their goal thanks to Tyler Olson, assisted by Maverick Milroy.
