#11 UMD Men’s Hockey shut out in Saturday showdown against #12 Cornell
#11 UMD was stifled on offense on Saturday, as they couldn't find the back of the net against #12 Cornell.
The #11 UMD Men’s Hockey team couldn’t find their footing on Saturday, losing to #12 Cornell in shutout fashion, 3-0.
After a scoreless first period, the Big Red came out firing in the second, with all three goals coming in the second frame.
Amongst the Big Red scorers was Gabriel Seger, who net two goals against the Bulldogs, one of which came off a power play.
UMD will have a tough task next week, as they play Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. against #1 University of Minnesota on the road.
