#15 UMD Men’s hockey continues losing skid, falls to #6 Minnesota
#15 UMD Men's hockey didn't find the back of the net until there were four minutes left in the game, which was too late, as they lost to #6 Minnesota.
#15 UMD can’t seem to find any offensive production lately, as they fell to #6 Minnesota, 5-1 on Friday.
Minnesota came out of the gates firing, as they were off to a 1-0 lead just three and a half minutes into the contest. They added a goal just seconds before the first period ended, leading 2-0 going into the second.
UMD didn’t find the back of the net until there were just four minutes left. When they did score, it was Carter Loney who cut the deficit to 4-1.
The Bulldogs will return home to AMSOIL Arena tomorrow night to face the Gophers again, where they look to avoid their fourth straight loss. Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m.
