3 with Northland ties win USHL Clark Cup with Fargo Force
On Saturday, May 18 Hermantown native Zam Plante won the United States Hockey League (USHL) Clark Cup championship with the Fargo Force.
They defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints 3-1 in game four to win the series 3-1. Plante registered three total assists throughout the series.
Fellow future University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey player Harper Bentz also lifted the Clark Cup with Fargo.
The Fargo Force’s head coach is Brett Skinner, the former head coach of the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Minnesota Wilderness based in Cloquet.
