UMD’s Drew Blair earns NABC DII All American status
University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball standout Drew Blair was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All District Team Monday, and the honors keep rolling in for the guard. On Tuesday he earned another NABC award being named a Division II All American and was invited to the NABC all star game.
Blair is just the third Bulldog in program history to receive the honor, and first since Brandon Myer in the 2019-2020 season.
Tuesday Blair was also named a Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Second Team All American.
A fifth year senior, Blair completed his Bulldog career with 2,772 career points as their all-time leading scorer.
Friday’s NABC all star game will be Blair’s last chance to represent UMD. Tip-off from Evansville, Indiana is 6 p.m..
