Fifth ranked UMD women’s hockey sweeps first home series
#5 UMD women's hockey sweeps first home series
On Saturday, the fifth ranked UMD women’s hockey team shut out St. Thomas 2-0, their first sweep at home of the year.
The Bulldogs not only held the Tommies to a scoreless game, but a scoreless series, as Tindra Holm posted 19 games in the game.
Danielle Burgen was able to find the back of the net for the Bulldogs in the first period, giving UMD the 1-0 lead and netting her first goal of the year.
After a scoreless second period, Devyn Millwater scored her first goal of the season.
The Bulldogs improve to 5-3 and turn to take on Minnesota State-Mankato on November 1st.
